30 Weeks

lb2-30 weeks

Can’t believe I’m in my thirties now… weeks that is. I have 9 more weeks of getting bigger to go, and people are already starting to dramatically move out of the way of my belly. No, we still haven’t decided on a name, although we may be getting closer to a first name.

How far along? 30 weeks, 6 days

Baby is the size of: A Summer Cantaloupe, motorcycle helmet, Brie enBrioche, or a Platypus

Total weight gain:  20 pounds! Maybe more.

Maternity clothes? Yes, reading my blog posts from last time, I’m a lot bigger at this point than I was with LBJ! Wearing some non-maternity shirts, but then my belly is more likely to be exposed. The struggle…

Sleep: Getting to the point where if I get woken up in the middle of the night it takes me forever to fall back asleep. That may be more things just going on in my mind. But for the most part, I’m enjoying a healthy amount of sleep while I still can.

Best moment this week: So my BFF Jill Alisa and I went to see The Rocket Summer in Orlando on a Tuesday night and I went to bed at 2:15am and only had four hours of sleep, but it was amazing and totally worth it! Also they have a Shake Shack (from NYC) in Orlando and we went and it was delish. LB2 went to his first concert and seemed to like it!

Movement: LB2 has stepped up his game this week. I’m getting the more dramatic movements. I’m wondering if he flipped because I’m feeling so many more big movements.

Food cravings:  All week I dreamt of a giant blueberry muffin from a place called Black Crow Coffee. I keep thinking of these… so good!

Exercise?  Yogaogaoga. This lady named Heidi Kristoffer on YouTube is my current favorite. I’ve been cycling through three of her pre-natal workouts, and then some of my go-to’s from last pregnancy.

Miss Anything? Today we saw a giant free yoga class downtown and watched for a little while and I missed being able to exercise “normally”, but I know I’ll be there again soon. And I’m grateful that I can still exercise as much as I am.

Symptoms: My scalp is so itchy and sensitive all the sudden this week. It probably comes down to not drinking enough water, le sigh.

Mood? Expectant. This week is jammed full of big things and I’m excited to see what God does.

Looking forward to: The other day we took Jack to the doctor and there was a tiny little two month old there. He was totally mesmerized by her. Excited to see his reaction to LB2! Also looking forward to celebrating Jesus, who He is and what He’s done at Easter… (and every day), but fun to celebrate it with masses of people on Easter. And if you’re in St. Pete and don’t have plans, make them to come to BridgePoint… it’s going to be awesome.

Until next week,

Amanda
