I hope you had a good week! I am basically always late posting, so as of today I am actually 34 weeks, which means only 6 weeks to go, give or take. SIX. WEEKS. It’s so soon, can you believe it? Not me.
LBJ has started “petting” my belly lately. Still not sure what he’s thinking. I so wish I knew what went on in his active little brain. He does understand so much, so I wish I knew what he thinks of all this.
How far along? 33 weeks, 6 days
Baby is the size of: Cauliflower blossom, Three Chocolate Croissants, a Junior Tennis Racquet, or a Ferret
Total weight gain: Michelin Man status (in feeling, not reality)
Maternity clothes? Yes. As much as I praise maternity jeans, they are starting to get old! Might be transitioning to dresses more now that it will only get hotter.
Sleep: Me and sleep are good friends. Not napping as much this pregnancy because … LBJ… but getting good nighttime sleep.
Best moment this week: My Mom is the best and took LBJ for us Friday night for a sleepover. This was the first night we both were together without Jack and we got to sleep in! I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to, but when I woke up and it was light out, I took that as a victory. We slept in and went out to breakfast without a kiddo… it was awesome.
Movement: More shifting from side to side it feels like this week. My midwife told me that his head is down, so that’s good news!
Food cravings: No, I’m boring. I ate a lot of cereal, avocado, and salad last week. Oh, and candy.
Exercise? Slacked this week due to life. Only got two workouts in, but I suppose it’s better than nothing!
Miss Anything? Today I’m missing some lovely YWAM peeps.
Symptoms: Not a whole lot, mostly just what comes from having a big belly, like not being able to reach my feet easily.
Mood? Does tired count as a mood? Haha, that’s how I feel. I wish there was more time in a day.
Looking forward to: The nesting instinct to kick in! I need it to give me motivation to sort though and wash newborn clothes and that sort of thing.
Thanks for joining me on my pregnancy journey.
Until next week,
Amanda
